Did you know that stress is one of the leading causes of weight gain???

This is because a high level of the stress hormone called cortisol has been shown to elevate your appetite, and create more cravings for comfort (junk) food, and make it oh so much easier to accumulate that pesky belly fat.

Now, I am NOT here to make you feel guilty or ashamed about your weight.

What I AM here to do is to bring awareness to the WAY you are BEing in your day …

If you’re spending MOST of your time worrying about the future and fretting over conversations in the past, chances are you are experiencing a low level of negative stress.

YES>>> there is a positive stress.

According to the World Journal of Medical Sciences:

A eustress or positive response to a stressor motivates you to deal with a challenge or accomplish a task. It helps you face what you have to face or fix what you have to fix. In the end, eustress can lead you to feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment, well-being and wholeness.

Positive stress can be a great asset and is actually a big part of feeling like you are living on purpose.

The one that I’m talking about today is the negative stress. The one that comes from living in a way that keeps you disconnected from your PLEASURE, from PLAY, from LAUGHTER, and from living with a sense of FLOW and JOY.

The negative stress mostly comes from your own lack of process around emotions and relationships.

As a Spiritual & Self-Care Coach, I have worked with women for nearly 18 years now. And I KNOW this to be true …

1- When you get more connected with your BODY, EMOTIONS, and BREATH … you begin to feel relief from the daily fears that come from being plugged into other people’s agenda.

2- When you realize that asking for support in your life and learning to RECEIVE it is actually your birthright … and people LOVE helping you … the weight of feeling like you have to do it all ALONE begins to literally get released (from your life and your body).

3- With simple daily practices, like meditation, movement, and mindful writing … you can begin to feel WORTHY of support, Self-Care and living a life that you are MEANT for.
