My gift to you… 3 Step Magic Morning Practice

How I Stay in My Delusional Bubble of Success {and not let anyone else pop it!}

Deciding to start your own business is a crazy thing to do. After all, the odds are stacked against you and most small businesses fail within the first two years. RIGHT?!! Maybe. Here’s where being a bit delusional really helps. Yup, I said delusional.

After all, in order to do something that’s never been done before with huge {so-called} odds stacked against you, you have to see something that NOBODY else can see and hear internal and external guidance and directives that NOBODY else hears. See, that’s delusional. And I say YES to delusion!

In order to decide to start my own business, create my own {kick-ass} program (which you can preview when you sign up here), I had to create a vision in my heart, mind and spirit that only I could see. I had to stay focused on keeping out other people’s opinions, thoughts, and limited beliefs.

I have to stay so single-mindedly focused on my vision that I begin to talk to myself {positive affirmations}, create huge goals {delusions of grandeur} and to see something as clear as day that nobody else can see {delusional}.

So yes, call me delusional. I love it. I know how to maintain my delusional bubble of success and keep moving forward in the face of doubt, fear and middle of the night terror. I’ve learned to take amazing care of my dreams, my body and my heart. I’ve learned the hard way. Depression, weight gain, pre-cancerous scares, un-diagnosable pains (I go into all of this in my new course). But I learned.

My Divine Self-Care practice helps me get aligned …  again and again.

Each morning I wake up early, meditate, practice yoga, write in my journal, stretch, breathe, drink lemon water, eat food that is healthy for me. And I find ways throughout the day to laugh, play and be mindful of each conversation I’m having.

So when someone says, “Oh, can you make money doing that??”, I can say, “Yes! I can” and not feel the need to explain myself or defend my dream because they don’t live in my world. I do. And that comment doesn’t throw me off balance or create more doubt.

I’ve learned how important self-care is to keeping myself happily delusional.

Will you join me?

I’d love to hear from you. Are you an entrepreneur? How do you keep doubt & fear at bay?

Oh my gosh…yes, yes and YES! Thanks for posting this. It was bad enough when the monkey mind told I couldn’t do it, only to have friends & family tell me to get a job. (They quit telling me that when I told them jobs make me suicidal ;)) I simply *have* to follow what I know is possible, even, EVEN, if it takes a bit of time to actually create it. I KNOW what’s possible and I just can’t help myself leaning into (actually, following) soul. For me, there’s no other way to live.

PS – The pic ROCKS 🙂

    Hi Randi
YES! Thanks for the great feedback. It takes faith, creativity & yes a bit of delusion to keep going. The odds are only as big as we make them out to be. All the tools we need are out there. Just keep going…take AMAZING care of your body, mind & spirit. YOU are the #1 asset in your life & biz.

    Rock on!

Yes – this pic turned out fabulous. I giggle every time I look at it. ;))

    I absolutely LOVE this!

Yes, we must be “delusional” in order to create that which is unseen to everyone else, along will standing vigilant over our beliefs.

Perfect timing for me on this! ~ <3 M

Elena – this is a fabulous post!
I keep fear at bay by going within. I stay tuned into my thoughts, beliefs + trust that I am doing what I’m meant to be doing in life and hold strong to my vision of success.
When I started my business two years ago so many people had opinions and doubts. Instead of giving in to their words of doubt I held my head high and gave myself permission to be successful.
I have boundaries in place to keep most negative people at bay. I dive into prayer on a regular basis and remind myself that everybody is entitled to their opinions and it’s my choice whether or not I give it any value. Staying focused on my goals brings me comfort.
I look forward to reading more posts written by you!!

    Much health + success,
    Christy x
