Q – What does Self-Care mean to you?
Self-Care means trusting your intuition to guide your mind, body, and soul through your daily life. When using Self-Care you are putting yourself first, which in turn helps others around you.
Q – Was there a time when you did not take care of YOU and how did it affect your life & business?
Yes, definitely! It actually happened recently. I was home in Boston visiting family and working with clients. I wanted to make sure I fulfilled all of the requests for readings.
I was trying to squeeze everyone in before I flew out of state. Because I love what I do, I didn’t feel as if I was working. My heart and my mind felt great, but my body was drained. I had to take a day where I went into nature and relaxed my body. I started to see the appropriate balance that was needed. In the end it was a lesson to pay attention to what my soul was telling me, especially while giving to others.
Q – What are your top 3 Self-Care tips that women can incorporate into their lives?
Tip 1: First and most important is TRUST YOUR INTUITION. If your mind, body, or soul is trying to tell you something, pay attention to the signs!
Tip 2: Second tip is to rest in nature, while drinking water. This is a natural way for your body to be reprogrammed for balance. I love to ground myself by putting my feet on the grass or sand.
Tip 3: Number three is to say no and feel good about it. If you are trying to do things to please others, but you really want to say no you aren’t benefiting anyone, especially yourself.
What you vibrate inside, shines out. You are better off saying no to the things that don’t feel good, so you can make room for the things you love. By doing this, you will actually create more room for Love Energy. This energy is for things that you love and are passionate about. By doing things with Love and showing Gratitude, you will notice more amazing things come into your life.
Q – What’s something (fun, silly, surprising) that we can learn about you?
I have a list that’s titled “Things to Do Before Reaching Heaven” and I’ve checked some amazing things off the list. One of which was driving across the country with my best friend. I also love trying out new adventures like Skydiving and Bungee Jumping.
