My gift to you… 3 Step Magic Morning Practice

The Juicy Bits Are In Your Heart, In The Silence and on Youtube!

Where oh where does inspiration to create come from?

This is an age old question for creatives. And, YOU are a creative. You are creating something from your heart and soul. Yes, it may not have a web page yet. And you may not have thousands of clients knocking down your door. But I know you girl. You’re creating, creating, creating.

Even if it’s just in your mind for now. You have the seeds of a vision, a business, a painting, or a book living Dash of gritwithin you. I KNOW if you weren’t also blessed with the ability to also make it happen, the idea would be planted in someone else.

Nope, this one is YOURS and yours alone. Nobody else will do it like you. How do I know? Because I’m the Divine Self-Care Mentor, that’s how.

Because I spent years working jobs that I was good at, ok maybe even GREAT at. But they didn’t fulfill my soul. I heard the calling to create loud and clear.

Deep in the night, at play on the beach. I heard the calling. “Elena…oh Elena…are you listening? You know you’re ready to launch that new business and help women all over the world learn to love their life and business. YOU are the only one who can do it your way!!!”

Um, ok, I may be a bit delusional here, and I’m OK with that.

I do hear voices sometimes. Ok, ALL the time. And that’s how I like it. The voices I hear are the ones in my heart and in my soul. Once you answer that call, there must be some action to breathe life into the idea. Nobody else can make your dream come true for you.

Yes, when I coach my clients, I do help them get their ducks lined up in a row, and cross their T’s and even dot their I’s. But the WORK, the actual work is done by them and them alone.

That’s a great question. If you are called to start your own business, a blog, or even knit a scarf for the first time, you’re going to be doing things you’ve never done before. Like, lots of them. And that can stretch and expand parts of you that are a bit out of practice or may never have been used. But trust me when I say this. We live in a time and era where everything is, as Marie Forleo says, “figure-outable”. With google, youtube, FB and the inter-web, there are so many resources available. You can learn how to do or begin just about anything. {I’m currently teaching myself how to play the ukelele -watch out world!}

When I was creating my very first video-blog using the iMovie on my MacBook, I totally got stuck trying to figure out how to add some music. So, instead of getting frustrated and thinking “I can’t do this!”, I opened another browser, and YouTube’d “adding music to my iMovie video” and within minutes I watched a step-by-step video and added music like a pro! So cool.

This holds true for everything you want to do. The main thing is to have the motivation, the courage and the GRIT to keep going, to ask questions and to breathe. Yes, you must breathe and allow the expansion of air and ideas to flow into your heart and mind.

When you are figuring out the next move, the next step and the how-to, there is also the golden secret of silence. Why is silence golden? It’s the same reason that Cheetah’s run 60 miles per hour, and then must rest -or else they can perish of exhaustion. It’s because we all need the space for recovery, rejuvenation and for inspiration to arrive.

So if you’re ready to create your next step, your business, your painting, your scarf, here are some steps to keep in mind:

    1. KNOW that you’ve got this idea for a reason, because you can DO IT!
    2. Take some still quiet time to allow the idea to fully arrive – {meditation, journaling, or a walk in nature are amazing!}
    3. Google it! If you don’t know where to start, find out.
    4. Get a coach – I’ve always had a coach or mentor helping me leap, jump & stretch into my next phase of business. It’s priceless to have the mixture of guidance, reflection and accountability. {you can always schedule a session of exploration with me}
    5. BEGIN! There is true magic in taking the first step. Doors open, helpful people come along, the right books falls off the shelf. Just begin. We’ll worry about the HOW soon enough.

Bring forth your GRIT.

In order to create anything, you’ll need to stick to it and not let the bumps throw you off track. Stay with it. So many success stories are based in just DOING It and not quitting in the tough moments.

I’d love to hear from you now. Are you getting ready to create something or take a big leap? Leave a comment below and share your plans. {There is magic in writing it or saying it out loud!}

    Thanks Elena, for this wonderful article!

    The sentence: ‘KNOW that you’ve got this idea for a reason, because you can DO IT!’ really struck a chord within me. It is such a supportive reminder when you are doing things that scare you so much!.

    Much love,

    Ute, this is SO true. You have the dreams you have because you CAN make them come true. And choosing to do so is a spiritual path.
